Home > Writing > Released: THE RETREAT #5: CRUCIBLE

This one was a bitch to write, but it’s done and has the blessing of my co-authors. It’s out on Amazon right now, so if you’re in the mood for cackling Killer Klowns versus the light infantrymen of the First Battalion, 55th Infantry Regiment…enjoy!

    Read the book

Man still makes me wonder the M1A3s did they mange to swing around and link up with them in the end.

Those BW shells are a game changer unless command already aware and trying to move fast as not alot of time still where they get it is the question.

I was wondering if we made this then there must have been a countermeasure as well to it. I’ve heard rumors of stuff more advance and now that bunkers are no longer safe from them need to spread the word to fight or die now.

Made me think of the cure o fluke to realign damage brains still if they can get BWs I wonder if they got something worse still I’m surprise we didn’t have a B-2 on Stewart and nuke the Klowns most there forces there crippled them big time as pull forces off the line free up the defenders south.

Still how many of those shells or new breed they got now.

Still me my gut tells me something wrong with the General or worse who is who as SFs get infected and take out seals and yet instead of Air Force it Navy something wrong here who is who and who do you trust.

Me Navy mostly isolated still Tomahawks could have easily taken out or a few from a Guided Missile Destroyer that Artillery.

Still me going to need new toys maybe something from Hulc or Talos suits can help they were being design with a small enough force from rag tag to expermental untested better than nothing

Liked the book, really hoping #6 is coming soon. This is one of the best post-apoc series I have read. The “killer klowns” are a gnarly enemy. Keep up the good work!! Can’t wait for TDL: Desolation either

Joe McKinney has the reins on The Retreat 6, and tells us he’ll have his draft ready for review in December. I’ll likely add some combat scenes and the like, because he and Craig think I do those okay. 🙂

These Dead Lands: Desolation gets released on October 22. Soon now!
